• As of 08 September 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 222,733,641 confirmed cases, including 4,601,136 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.1.
• In China, there were 123,304 confirmed cases with 5,685 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (212) and Taiwan (837). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,130), Macau (63), and Taiwan (16,047). CFR was 4.6.
• 10,606,490 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 235,493 deaths, with a CFR of 2.2.
