• As of 08 December 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 266,509,813 confirmed cases, including 5,277,303 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.0.
• In China, there were 128,338 confirmed cases with 5,697 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (848). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,472) and Taiwan (16,683). CFR was 4.4.
• 14,210,458 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 294,234 deaths, with a CFR of 2.1
