• As of 03 January 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 290,798,535 confirmed cases, including 5,466,830 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.9.
• In China, there were 132,350 confirmed cases with 5,699 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (850). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,693), Macau (79) and Taiwan (17,070). CFR was 4.3.
• 14,933,092 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 305,344 deaths, with a CFR of 2.0.
