• As of 28 January 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 366,052,290 confirmed cases, including 5,660,962 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.5.
• In China, there were 138,094 confirmed cases with 5,700 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (851). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (13,626), Macau (79) and Taiwan (18,566). CFR was 4.1.
• 16,400,583 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 313,134 deaths, with a CFR of 1.9.
