• As of 28 February 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 436,110,429 confirmed cases, including 5,974,764 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.4.
• In China, there were 223,662 confirmed cases with 5,986 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (497) and Taiwan (853). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (94,056), Macau (81) and Taiwan (20,433). CFR was 2.7.
• 20,425,526 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 324,324 deaths, with a CFR of 1.6.
