• As of 24 January 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 358,878,574 confirmed cases, including 5,642,348 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.6.
• In China, there were 137,595 confirmed cases with 5,700 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (851). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (13,395), Macau (79) and Taiwan (18,411). CFR was 4.2.
• 16,282,186 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 312,635 deaths, with a CFR of 1.9.
