• As of 25 August 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 214,166,729 confirmed cases, including 4,467,169 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.1.
• In China, there were 122,758 confirmed cases with 5,677 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (212) and Taiwan (829). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,070), Macau (63), and Taiwan (15,938). CFR was 4.6.
• 9,474,793 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 210,378 deaths, with a CFR of 2.2.
