• As of 22 October 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 243,587,636 confirmed cases, including 4,949,628 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.0.
• In China, there were 125,360 confirmed cases with 5,695 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (846). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,312), Macau (77), and Taiwan (16,349). CFR was 4.5.
• 12,903,716 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 274,198 deaths, with a CFR of 2.1.
