• As of 21 January 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 342,174,082 confirmed cases, including 5,597,459 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.6.
• In China, there were 136,628 confirmed cases with 5,700 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (851). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (13,096), Macau (79) and Taiwan (18,041). CFR was 4.2.
• 15,967,342 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 311,234 deaths, with a CFR of 1,9.
