• As of 20 October 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 242,638,876 confirmed cases, including 4,932,922 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.0.
• In China, there were 125,305 confirmed cases with 5,695 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (846). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,302), Macau (77), and Taiwan (16,343). CFR was 4.5.
• 12,845,042 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 273,292 deaths, with a CFR of 2.1.
