• As of 20 August 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 211,021,522 confirmed cases, including 4,419,116 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) is 2.1.
• In China, there were 122,554 confirmed cases with 5,674 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (212) and Taiwan (826). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,048), Macau (63), and Taiwan (15,897). CFR was 4.6.
• 9,045,340 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 198,480 deaths, with a CFR of 2.2.
