• As of 18 October 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 241,857,770 confirmed cases, including 4,920,376 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.0.
• In China, there were 125,232 confirmed cases with 5,695 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (846). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,295), Macau (77), and Taiwan (16,337). CFR was 4.5.
• 12,786,094 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 272,369 deaths, with a CFR of 2.1.
