• As of 17 September 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 228,080,837 confirmed cases, including 4,782,352 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.1.
• In China, there were 123,821 confirmed cases with 5,688 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (839). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,150), Macau (63), and Taiwan (16,115). CFR was 4.6.
• 11,265,166 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 248,714 deaths, with a CFR of 2.2.
