• As of 16 March 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 461,829,590 confirmed cases, including 6,075,330 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.3.
• In China, there were 875,773 confirmed cases with 9,768 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (4,279) and Taiwan (853). Confirmed
cases in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (733,785), Macau (82) and Taiwan (21,402). CFR was 1.1.
• 25,191,648 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 334,189 deaths, with a CFR of 1.3.
