• As of 16 July 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 190,048,537 confirmed cases, including 4,085,665 deaths. Globally, Case Fatality
Rate (CFR) is 2.1.
• In China, there were 119,504 confirmed cases with 5,607 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (212) and Taiwan (759). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (11,956), Macau (55), and Taiwan (15,346).
• 5,852,086 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 111,703 deaths, with a CFR of 1.9.
