• As of 16 February 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 415,857,567 confirmed cases, including 5,860,042 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.4.
• In China, there were 151,895 confirmed cases with 5,709 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (221) and Taiwan (852). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (25,051), Macau (79) and Taiwan (19,666). CFR was 3.8.
• 18,158,942 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 318,333 deaths, with a CFR of 1.8.
