• As of 15 December 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 271,985,063 confirmed cases, including 5,341,478 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.0.
• In China, there were 129,183 confirmed cases with 5,697 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (848). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,496), Macau (77) and Taiwan (16,752). CFR was 4.4.
• 14,444,308 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 298,166 deaths, with a CFR of 2.1
