• As of 12 January 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 313,225,232 confirmed cases, including 5,525,643 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.8.
• In China, there were 134,692 confirmed cases with 5,699 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (850). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,980), Macau (79) and Taiwan (17,463). CFR was 4.2.
• 15,377,509 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 308,718 deaths, with a CFR of 2.0.
