• As of 08 October 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 237,856,599 confirmed cases, including 4,853,003 deaths. Globally, Case Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.0.
• In China, there were 124,933 confirmed cases with 5,693 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (844). Confirmed cases in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,252), Macau (75), and Taiwan (16,271). CFR was 4.6.
