Joint Ministerial Statement of the Twelfth ASEAN Meeting on Youth (AMMY XII)

WE, the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Youth, met on 21 June 2023 via videoconference, for the Twelfth ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Youth, under the chairpersonship of Malaysia guided by the theme “Mental Health Matters: You are not alone”.

1. We congratulate Malaysia for the successful convening of the AMMY XII and support its Chairpersonship theme in view of the importance of mental health, and our shared aspiration to empower our young people to be future-ready, resilient and adaptive.
