• As of 07 January 2022 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 299,719,477 confirmed cases, including 5,491,868 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.8.
• In China, there were 133,230 confirmed cases with 5,699 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (850). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,832), Macau (79) and Taiwan (17,198). CFR was 4.3.
• 15,084,808 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 306,552 deaths, with a CFR of 2.0
