• As of 04 August 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 200,439,601 confirmed cases, including 4,261,898 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.1.
• In China, there were 120,968 confirmed cases with 5,639 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (212) and Taiwan (791). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (11,995), Macau (59), and Taiwan (15,721).
• 7,552,842 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 155,715 deaths, with a CFR of 2.1.
