• As of 27 August 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 215,611,727 confirmed cases, including 4,489,461 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.1.
• In China, there were 122,821 confirmed cases with 5,680 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (212) and Taiwan (832). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,078), Macau (63), and Taiwan (15,947). CFR was 4.6.
• 9,655,355 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 214,864 deaths, with a CFR of 2.2.
