• As of 20 December 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 275,383,042 confirmed cases, including 5,376,870 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 2.0.
• In China, there were 129,694 confirmed cases with 5,699 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (850). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,527), Macau (77) and Taiwan (16,805). CFR was 4.4.
• 14,587,636 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 300,183 deaths, with a CFR of 2.1.
