• As of 17 May 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 164,107,070 confirmed cases, including 3,397,898 deaths. Globally, Case Fatality Rate (CFR) is 2.1.
• In China, there were 104,736 confirmed cases with 4,858 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (210) and Taiwan (12). Confirmed cases in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (11,825), Macau (49), and Taiwan (2,017).
