Situation Report of EID in Global and ASEAN Region - 28 July 2025

During June 2025, COVID-19 was reported across five ASEAN countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Thailand, with a total of 218,939 cases and 15 deaths. Mpox cases were documented in the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, totaling 31 cases with one fatality reported. Meningitis surveillance identified 211 cases with no deaths in Thailand. Singapore and Thailand reported 7 cases each, meanwhile, Indonesia reported one case of Legionellosis during the monitoring period. No cases were detected for MERS-CoV, Poliomyelitis, while Indonesia identified two cases of Hantavirus in June 2025.
