• As of 22 December 2021 (2PM, GMT+8), worldwide, there were 276,798,765 confirmed cases, including 5,390,296 deaths. Globally, Case
Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.9.
• In China, there were 129,914 confirmed cases with 5,699 deaths, including deaths in Hong Kong (213) and Taiwan (850). Confirmed cases
in China include confirmed cases in Hong Kong (12,542), Macau (77) and Taiwan (16,826). CFR was 4.4.
• 14,632,998 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ASEAN region with a total of 300,925 deaths, with a CFR of 2.1
