• COVID-19 cases and deaths has increased by 98,818 and 49, respectively, since the last report in the ASEAN Region. Go to page 3 for details 

• Per December 2023, JN.1 and JN.1.1 which is descendand lineage of BA.2.86 have been found in several ASEAN Member States (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore). Go to page 5

• There are 107 mpox new cases in the ASEAN Region since last report. Go to page 7 for details 

• 14 new rabies cases and 14 new deaths has been found since last report for zoonosis in the ASEAN Region. Go to page 11 for details. 

• Dengue cases and deaths has increased by 8,610 and 21 since the last report. Meanwhile, 24 new malaria cases and 31 new chikungunya cases has been found since the last report for vector-borne diseases in the ASEAN Region. Go to page 13 for details. 

• There are 13 new diphtheria cases and 72 new measles cases since last report for vaccine-preventable diseases in the ASEAN Region. Go to page 18 for details.
