ABVC Disease Alert No. 58 Human Avian Influenza A (H5N1) in Cambodia

Time Period Covered November 17, 2025 - November 17, 2025

On November 15, 2025, the National Institute of Public Health confirmed a new human case of avian influenza A(H5N1) in Phnom Penh through laboratory testing. The finding was announced on November 16 by the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia. This brings Cambodia’s total confirmed H5N1 human infections in 2025 to 18.
