ABVC Disease Alert No. 56 | Human Avian Influenza A (H5N1) in Cambodia

Time Period Covered October 17, 2025 - October 17, 2025

On October 15, 2025, the National Institute of Public Health confirmed a new human case of avian influenza A(H5N1) in Kampong Speu Province through laboratory testing. The finding was announced on October 16 by the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia. This brings Cambodia’s total confirmed H5N1 human infections in 2025 to 17.
