ABVC Disease Alert No. 37 | Update for Human Avian Influenza A (H5N1) in Cambodia

Time Period Covered June 16, 2025 - June 16, 2025

On June 13, 2025, the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia issued a press release confirming a human case of avian influenza A(H5N1) in a 65-year-old woman from Prey Kabbas District in Takeo Province. The case was confirmed on June 12, 2025, by the Pasteur Institute of Cambodia through laboratory testing.
