Time Period Covered January 02, 2025 - January 02, 2025

Based on the report for week 51 of 2024, the China CDC stated that there were ILI outbreaks in 156 areas in China. This number has increased compared to the previous week. From FluNet data released by WHO (data as of January 1, 2025), it shows that influenza in China is a seasonal case. The influenza variants that attack are Influenza A (H1N1), Influenza A (H3N2), and Influenza B (Victoria). In 2024, the trend of influenza attacks will not be as high as compared to 2022 and 2023.
